Kyle Pitts Only Follows One NFL Team on Instagram: the Atlanta Falcons
When it comes to the NFL Draft, we can't afford to leave any stone unturned when trying to figure out which players are going to be picked by which teams. And in 2021, that especially includes social media. So today, we received this fun tidbit that the only team Kyle Pitts follows on Instagram is the Atlanta Falcons.
I went and did a quick check and it does appear to be accurate.
While it would be easy to dismiss this as meaning nothing, I do think it's a bit coincidental to not mean anything. Does it mean the Falcons are definitely taking Pitts? Of course not. But it is quite interesting.
I've said on the record before that I don't want this to happen. With all the holes Atlanta has to fill to get back to being competitive, they simply can't afford to take a tight end at No. 4. But as I try to talk myself into a situation which seems more likely by the day, it is impossible to deny that adding Pitts to an offense already featuring Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Hayden Hurst and Cordarrelle Patterson would be electric.
But if they're going to do this, they also have to just go full "fuck it" and trade back into the first round and take Najee Harris, too. Let's just get reckless. We're going to give up 38 points, but we're going to try to score 41, damn it. Go full college football.
Wherever he ends up going, Pitts is unquestionably a monster. This guy tore up the best defenses in the country on a weekly basis and made it look effortless. He's a freak.
